Day 1, Calgay-Canmore

On July 3, 2010, we started our journey. We rode about 111 km and stayed the night in Bear hostel in Canmore. Everything went on smoothly, except for the weather condition. At the midway, a few kilometers after the Ghost lake a strong headwind (to the west) started blowing, and it took much more energy to get to Canmore than what we expected. Due to weather condition we arrived at Canmore with 2 hours delay. We rode on 1A, our main stop was at the Ghost lake for lunch. At the end of the day we had a huge, delicious Korean supper and had a sound sleep at the hostel.
